About StoryMusic
StoryMusic.io is not a big company leading a big team. It is the realization of the hard work of an indie composer and producer, Didier Herisson (aka Hedd Lone). Driven by a deep respect for other content creators who buy my music, I strive to offer a different perspective to traditional sync music by providing more character, less dejà-vu, and some emotion. In a way, a more commercial approach, off the beaten tracks.
Long story short
As far as I can remember, music has always been a lifelong and genuine passion, from early childhood, during my teenage years, and until today. In the 80s, I felt particularly drawn to music, especially the synthpop genre and its electronic sounds. That is how naturally, in the mid-90s, I set up my first home studio with some old-school gear. Some anecdotes? At that time, I sequenced my tracks on a B&W version of Steinberg Cubase while I recorded my mixes on an AKAI DR4D fitted with a 540MB HDD.
Since those years, besides a career in web development, I have experimented with and recorded ideas for later, always being self-taught. Then, in 2017, I decided to devote myself to music, make it a professional activity and thus bring life to years of interest. Now, StoryMusic.io is born. Today, I'm living and producing in a tranquil place, the Cevennes National Park, in the South of France. I occasionally teach electronic music production at the University of Perpignan, France.
